We redesigned, redeveloped, and launched this site in 2007. Until recently, it required no major updates. At the time, it was a complex and technically challenging website. Advances in web technology would make a similarly design-intensive project much easier to build today. The client operates seasonally around Halloween, when the site performs especially well. The site included a complete shopping cart and order fulfillment system.

iBuyXS

A client since 2009, iBuyXS has worked with us through several redesigns. We completed a WordPress upgrade using a theme selected by the company’s marketing team and built a custom parts-search plugin that integrates with offline inventory. The online parts database also integrates with a legacy Windows-based ERP system designed for the electronic components industry. Our search engine optimization (SEO) services increased organic visibility, site usage, and lead generation.

Beginning in 2012, we converted the site from Django/Python to Drupal while maintaining a consistent interface for subscribers. We built and managed the infrastructure and developed a caching strategy that improved the user experience by reducing average search time by more than 70%. We also introduced Agile and Scrum project management practices while leading a team of up to 18 product owners, marketers, and developers.
